Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger formation lap: Settlers of the Galaxy  is a TTFC-exclusive web special for Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger, crossing-over with Sixth Rangers from Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger, Avataro Sentai Donbrothers, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger and Engine Sentai Go-Onger.

The special tells the universe-spanning tale of the Settler duo, Sakito Homura and Byun Diesel, before their return to Earth after over a decade of absence.

This was announced as a surprise by Yu Miyazawa, who played Sakito Homura/Bun Violet at the Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger Final Live Tour 2025 event last Sunday, May 18th.

That said, the events of this spin-off take place prior to Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger’s 16th episode titled “Violet Cleaner” in which Sakito and Byun Diesel return to Earth for the first time in over a decade, but the story leading up to that point is a grand one that spans the universe.

Aside from Miyazawa, Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) will also reprise his role as Byun Diesel. But that’s not all, Satoru Soma will also reprise his role as Genbard De Livery II, who will be later known as Genba Bureki/Bun Orange. The teaser trailer gives us a glimpse of Planet Bureki, and even teased his relationship with Sakito and Byudi before they became Boonboomgers.

Written by Natsumi Morichi, who wrote some episodes of Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger, and directed by Hiroyuki Kato (Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger vs. Donbrothers), this special is set to premiere this year, exclusively on the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club streaming service.
