Dengeki Sentai Changeman

Sentai Dengeki The ninth season of the Super Sentai series is called Changeman. It ran for 55 episodes from February 2, 1985, to February 22, 1986.

This Sentai is based on creatures from European mythology. In South Korea, Changeman was published under the title Lightning Squadron Changeman (Jeongyeog Jeondae Cheinjimaen).

The series received an 11.1% average rating.

Plot Dengeki Sentai Changeman

The Great Star League Gozma sets its sights on Earth after capturing hundreds of planets already. The military creates the Earth Defence Force, a specialised branch made up of elite soldiers from all branches, to defend the lands in such a dire situation.

The numerous Earth Defence Force soldiers who have assembled start a rigorous training regimen under Commander Ibuki’s direction.

The Gozma opt to attack the military first because they stand the highest chance of obstructing their invasion. The Earth Defence Force are tired of Ibuki’s ruthless ways after a particularly difficult day of training and leave the exercise.

They are then attacked by multiple Gozma soldiers shortly after. The five remaining cops assemble, battered and worn out but unwilling to back down from this menace.

The five are then given the Earth Force, which gives them the power of mythical monsters, at precisely that moment when the earth begins to tremble. The Changeman launch their conflict with Gozma using both military technology and the magical force of the Earth Force.
