Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger

The 40th season of Super Sentai is called Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, which translates to Animal Squadron Beast King Ranger. At the Super Hero Time block on February 14, 2016, it replaced Shuriken Sentai Ninninger and joined Kamen Rider Ghost.

Following the conclusion of Ghost, Zyuohger and Kamen Rider Ex-Aid joined the Super Hero Time lineup. It features gear with a cubic appearance and a wild animal theme. As part of the Super Hero Time block, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger took its position on February 12, 2017.

In South Korea, Zyuohger was given the name Power Rangers Animal Force (Paoleinjeo Aenimeolposeu?). Following the original series Power Rangers Dino Force Brave, which featured a promotional line of Zyuohger Dinocells in its toyline, it was aired in 2017.

The series received a 3.4% average rating.

Plot Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger

On Earth, there are thought to be 8 million different types of creatures. However, there are only roughly 1.7 million of those species that we have found. There are still a lot of animals on our planet about which we know nothing.

A rookie zoologist named Yamato Kazakiri gets lost on the Earth-based realm “Zyuland”! He encounters four “Zyuman”—anthropomorphic, intelligent animals—there.

In the meantime, Ginis, the mastermind behind the terrible Blood Game, and his space outlaw organization “Deathgalien” are attacking the human world. The Deathgaliens dispatch creatures to assault Earth from their ship, the Sagittari Ark.

The attack by the Deathgaliens is not forgiven by Yamato or the Zyumans. These five individuals unleash their inclinations as proud Earthlings and become into Zyuohger! Together with their “King’s Credentials” in hand, humans and Zyumans defend their land.

Land, sea, and the sky! The strongest animal heroes in Super Sentai history are born, the dream team of animal monarchs! Don’t undervalue the earth!
